Can We Make It Any Easier?
Nobody, NOBODY needs a weapon like this for hunting, target practice or protecting their families. If you feel you need an assault rifle in your life, maybe you need to reevaluate your life.
Bill, to an extent you're right; assault rifles can be bought at any gun shop. However, WalMart is so ubiquitous and so ingrained in American culture that they are a symbol for how easy it is to buy one of these rifles.
Walmart does and I think Costco does too. Shudders
Wouldn't that be an interesting shopping day, "Come on Tony lets go to Wallyworld, I need some shampoo and I've been meaning to look at those shiney new caskets."

Walmart sells assault rifles? Just one more reason to hate them.
This is the gun used at Sandy Hook. WalMart has since taken it off their web site but not off the shelves.
Oh darn, you mean I can't have target practice and show off my target skill when the neighbors come for a BBQ. What a spoilsport you are!
Agreed.
We make Walmart and the one assault rifle a big deal. It's not. They are very visible and easy to jump on.
I only buy flamethrowers. They sell them at Ace Hardware. Ask for Mr. Ace.
That's what these kids need, flamethrowers.
Ace is the place for warzone weaponry. We also sell the Golden Gun.
They also sell caskets. Coincidence?
WalMart sells caskets? Or Ace Hardware?

I wish someone could just explain to me why they need this type of weapon without hiding behind or bastardizing the 2nd amendment. To what end?
