| Need to shoot down a plane? |
Last weekend Seattle, WA had a gun buyback day. People lined up to get $100 for a handgun or $200 for a rifle. Police noticed there was a lot of action down the line from the checkpoint as people were trying to tempt those in line with better offers for their guns. In other words, private sales with no background checks of any kind. It's not illegal and there was nothing the cops could do about it.
That is until they saw a guy in line buying a missile launcher from another individual. And by missile launcher I mean as in the type that fires surface to air missiles. Considered a controlled military item, they are illegal for private citizens to own. It was being sold for $100.
Turns out it is a single use portable tube like those used to fire Stinger missiles and had already been used. Now they are in touch with the Army to find out how it ended up in the hands of a citizen. If someone got his hands on a used missile launcher, what are the odds there are unused ones out there?

Wow! How on earth did he get his hand on that? That is a scary deal and thought. We all know there's worse s--t than that under the covers of our society. You are becoming my favorite newsworthy person. If I need to know something, I'll come to your blog.
I am telling you grumpy, with your need of knowledge and research you complete for writing, you should look into content writing for sites or blogs or periodicals. Could be a bit of $$ involved & you could go get yourself a rocket launcher.
You should probably not be allowed to sell a firearm on your own. That's just a horrible idea.
I agree GM, but I'd like to find a good .22 cal. handgun somebody is trading it before they trade it.
You with a rocket launcher, wow, that's scary!
