This Act Is Wearing Thin

Not impressed in New Jersey

Did you catch the video of Rep. John Boehner being sworn in as Speaker of the House yesterday?  In his acceptance speech he once again became emotional and teared up, pulling out a handkerchief to wipe his moist eyes.  Over his time in the public eye as Speaker, he has been known to be emotional and cry at the drop of a hat.  Nothing wrong with that; I tear up every time at the end of Rudy (fuck you G$).

Just remember when you see the Speaker crying that two nights before his latest teary jag he stalled legislation to provide funds to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy.  Didn't want to appear to be spending money on the same night Congress made a deal to avoid the so-called fiscal cliff. 

Or maybe he was just late for a New Year's Eve party.
