A Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Waste
Well, I forgot it. I spent the whole day trying to recall that exact moment when I had the idea. Nothing. Nada. Zip. Blank. This is disturbing on several levels. I know it was a great story, witty and entertaining. I would like to believe it's a momentary lapse, but when these things happen I can almost feel the plaque growing and entwining my brain.
It's not just forgetting a blog post. I sometimes think of former customers, people I knew for nearly 30 years. I can see their stores and their faces, I just can't think of their names immediately. They eventually come to me, but it sometimes takes a few minutes. In a couple of these instances I've even consulted my old customer address books to jog my memory. It's really kind of pathetic.
The good news is that now I don't have to come up with another post until Thursday night. Suggestions welcome.
